Taking the Mic, our very first project conference, took place in November 2022. It was a day-long event celebrating Black British spoken word Poetry since 1965, co-convened by our very own Dr. Emily Kate Timms and Dr. Deirdre Osborne FRSA of Goldmiths University of London.
